Pure House Flyer

Another beautiful flier! I absolutely love the use of the diamond shape in this. In graphic design classes we talked about the meaning of different shapes, but the text-book never mentioned what a diamond shape meant.

This was interesting to me because we all took guesses at what a diamond shape might mean. Purity, as invoked in this theme, is a very good concept when you think of a diamond shape.

I love the play with perspective between the different levels of diamonds, and I love the differing textures that you used, it really builds up to the final centered image and text showcasing the event. I also love the subtle textures on the upper part of the image – it almost seems to sparkle on my screen. The bottom is cast with well-placed shadows.

In any event, another amazing job! Definitely grabs my attention and makes me notice it. In other ways, it’s also a very powerful image!

Sorry, it took me so long to critique this, I’ve been away for the holidays and my feed blew up, so it was lost in the back pages. I’m glad I found it though.
